🍓 Strawberry Crunch Banana Pudding

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 bananas sliced
  • 1 lb strawberries sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafers
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional

Method
 

  1. Heat milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt until thick.
  2. Add egg yolks and cook until creamy.
  3. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  4. Let cool completely.
  5. Layer wafers, pudding, bananas, and strawberries.
  6. Repeat layers.
  7. Mix topping ingredients.
  8. Sprinkle topping evenly.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
  10. Cool before serving.

Notes

Let pudding cool before assembling.
Drain fruit to avoid excess moisture.
Chill for best texture.
