🍗 3. Crispy Dill Chicken Sandwich with Homemade Aioli

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • For aioli:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • - Mixing bowls
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, breadcrumbs, dill, and spices.
  3. Coat chicken evenly in mixture.
  4. Heat oil in pan.
  5. Fry chicken 5–7 minutes per side until golden.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Mix aioli ingredients until smooth.
  8. Toast bread.
  9. Assemble sandwich with aioli and chicken.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh dill for best flavor.
Do not overcrowd pan when frying.
Reheat in oven to maintain crispiness.
