Classic Caesar Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • For the dressing:
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Wash, dry, and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add mayonnaise and Parmesan, then whisk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Place lettuce in a large bowl and drizzle dressing over it.
  5. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  6. Add croutons and extra Parmesan on top.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
Keep dressing separate until serving for maximum freshness.
Adjust garlic and lemon to taste.
