Korean BBQ Meatballs with Spicy Mayo Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • For the dip:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Oven

Method
 

  1. Mix all meatball ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Shape into small meatballs.
  3. Place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Mix dip ingredients together.
  6. Serve meatballs warm with dip.

Notes

Do not overmix meat for tender texture.
Adjust spice level to taste.
Great as appetizer or main dish.
