Low Carb Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large low-carb tortillas or wraps
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Handful of baby spinach optional

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Skillet or grill pan
  • Spatula
  • Sharp knife

Method
 

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until the cream cheese coats the chicken evenly.
  3. Warm the tortillas slightly so they become flexible.
  4. Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the tortillas and place the filling in the center of each wrap.
  5. Roll each tortilla tightly, folding in the sides to form secure wraps.
  6. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the pan, slice in half, and serve immediately while the cheese is melted.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for faster preparation and extra flavor.
Shredding cheese from a block helps it melt better.
Avoid overfilling the wraps to prevent them from opening while cooking.
Air frying the wraps at 375°F for 6–8 minutes also creates a crispy texture.
